You may have some questions once you begin to sew a star quilt with one of my patterns. When I receive emails with relevant questions, I'll post them here on this "Questions and Answers" page. So send those emails to me! I'll help. dianesnativeamericanstarquilts@gmail.com
Q: I love the corner block of your Prairie Star quilt, the one with feathers in the four corners. Do you have a pattern for it?
A: No, I have created all of my corner blocks and borders myself and there's no pattern to offer. HOWEVER, I'll share an easy way with you to create your own corner blocks. 1. On freezer paper, draw a perfect square that's the same size as your corner square. My queen size star quilts require a 19 1/8" corner square. 2. Draw your design on the square. 3. Cut on all the lines. 4. On more freezer paper, trace each pattern piece, adding 1/4" around all sides. 5. Cut on the lines. 6. Sew pieces together. Presto! Corner block finished!
KEEP SENDING IN THOSE QUESTIONS. :-)
