Meet Diane

Hi!  I have lived on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Wellpinit, WA, for 12 years.   I am Cheyenne, Creek, and Arapaho.  I have two grown sons, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.  Then there's Mia and Levi, and Smoke, Sage and missy, my cats here at home to provide lots of love and entertainment. I love to grow flowers too, so I keep plenty busy and happy these days.  And of course my decades-long love affair with star quilts will go on forever and forever....

I started my business back in 1988, first opening a Native American Gift Shop for 8 years.  When the internet came along, I joined up in 2001 and my website has been rated #1 on the internet to this day for star quilts and patterns.  I'm  retired from accepting custom star quilt orders now.   I do occasionally offer star quilts that are made by trusted, wonderfully talented people however.  

As for important personal stuff, well I participated in the traditional Sundance ceremony for 4 days each for 16 years.  I am retired from dancing in the sacred arbor now, but I still go to see my Sundance family and to support the younger dancers there.
